son  there was so many things that we remembered about you and Christmas how you were afraid you wouldn't get anything if we drew names.  You was such a  holiday person.  you was always the one who kept us laughing.  How i laugh when i think of the things you did. you was always making some kind of noise, singing or going on about something.  YOU was a joy to be around. Matthew the last Christmas u were with us i remember u wanted to come and stay with me some in the summer. I was tickled when u said that it made my day and im so sorry it never happened. But im greatful that Mikie moved up their and you 2 got close. I know you touched his life greatly, and i know he made you proud with his words they were very true you sure didnt judge people. I love and miss you very much Matt i know you are watching down on me. Ill try to make you proud of me please put a word in with the BIG GUY for me...:)

                                                          

So many memories....i remember when you were 2, or 3 and me, Lisa, and Erica were upstairs in your mom and dad's bedroom and you went to go downstairs and tumbled down...it scared me so much. your mom and dad just scooped you up and you were fine 10 minutes later wanting to come back up. you were always so strong. thats the earliest i remember.but, playing spot light in the bottom or tin can alley. riding the mining belt in the winter. us playing lazer tag at my mom's and howard's in kentucky...that was loads of fun. jess sticking a dandelion in your mouth as a joke. you were always the one to want to get our families together. i am so grateful that you and your sisters are part of the family.mom was telling me that you had fixed the 4wheeler howard had wanting to know if i was coming for christmas, cuz i didn't make it thanksgiving, and that you wanted to go riding. you knew how much i liked 4wheelers. and matt, i will make it to you one day and we will go for that ride. i love and miss you everyday.see you one day!!!!

matt i have so many memories of us growing up.  From camping to fishing.  Just being kids... being family. I am so glad you were part of my life.  I know I will see you again some day, and knowing that keeps me focused.  I love you lil' bro

SON YOU ARE MY HERO. I'VE  LOST THE MOST PRECIOUS PART OF MY LIFE . I WAS ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT YOU GOING TO THE CABIN, BECAUSE PEOPLE TOLD ME ABOUT THE BEARS. I COULD JUST SEE YOU BOYS COMING UP ON ONE. HOW I WORRIED ABOUT YOU. EVERYTIME YOU WENT DOWN THE ROAD OR TO THE MOVIES ,I COULD'NT WAIT TILL YOU CALLED TO LET ME KNOW HOW YOU WERE. YOU NEVER CALLED THAT NIGHT.  IT'S HARD TO TELL SOMEONE HOW YOUR LIFE HAS BECOME A COLLAGE OF LAST AND FIRST, THE LAST SMILE YOU SEEN THE LAST HUG YOU FELT, THE LAST KISS YOU RECEIVED, AND THE LIST GOES ON , THEN IS THE LIST OF FIRSTS, THE FIRST DAY WITHOUT YOU THE FIRST BIRTHDAY, THE FIRST CHRISTMAS. THE FIRST I'M WAITING FOR IS THE FIRST TIME I'LL SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN. SON YOU WERE NOT SUPPOSE TO GO BEFORE ME.  SUCH JOY WHEN I SEE YU AGAIN.
